You guys. There are so many exciting things happening right now – I can’t even stand it! Okay, actually, that’s a lie. I can definitely stand it. In fact, I can more than stand it. I EMBRACE IT WITH OPEN ARMS! <– Alright, I’m done. But seriously… So. Excited.
And on that note, can I just say that I love styling? And event planning? I have several projects in the works currently & am just tickled sketching out the design ideas for each of them. I can’t wait to show you guys the finished products over the next couple of months. If you had asked me 5 years ago where I’d be right now, I probably would not say here. But I am so, so grateful for God’s plans & purposes that have led me to this beautiful life I live: married to my best friend, part of an incredible community of people who passionately love Jesus, friends with the most selfless, incredible people who have walked us through painful, hard, joyous times, slowly moving towards living my dream of working full-time for myself as a blogger/event planner/stylist, homeowners of a gorgeous home that is daily being transformed into our dream house, laughing, cooking, loving… all in the glorious, wide open space that is called Texas. I’m a lucky gal, y’all.
Okay, okay, without further ado.. here is the anniversary shoot that I styled for Matt and I for our 1-year anniversary!! We partnered with MiaBella Photography for the shoot and holy cow – they are just so stinkin’ talented, it’s ridiculous. They also took our wedding photos (which I posted here last month) and will take all of the photos for our lives’ momentous occasions for the rest of all time. I’m not joking :) I absolutely love how these turned out and I’m so excited to share them with you!
The first set we did was vibrant, colorful & full of happiness! At least, that’s what I was going for ;)
The second set we did included a fabric tent that I made! I wanted this one to be whimsical, cozy and warm :)
Well, there you have it! :) These are just a few of my favorites from the session, since posting all 200 of them would have taken foreverrrr. And you guys probably wouldn’t scroll through 200, so… you’re welcome for only posting a handful ;)
You guys, the process of having a vision, planning the details, dreaming, finding the perfect pieces, etc. was one I wouldn’t trade for the world. It was exhilarating and terrifying and wonderful and I can’t wait for the next one! I hope you enjoyed the pictures! Which ones were your favorites? I’d love to hear from you! You can comment on here or find me on Instagram (@theculturedcavewomanblog), Facebook or Pinterest. Hope you have a great day, friends!
